WHO IS CHRIS GELLERT?
Chris Gellert PT, MMusc & Sportsphysio, MPT, CES, C-IASTM, NASM-CPT is a personal trainer with decades of experience helping people move better, get stronger, and stay active at every stage of life. His work is grounded in evidence based training and real world application, not trends or quick fixes. He focuses on how the body actually moves and how strength supports daily life.
He has worked across inpatient, outpatient, home care, industrial rehabilitation, and private practice settings, treating a wide range of movement issues. His background includes orthopedic and spinal injuries, post operative care, sports and traumatic injuries, motor vehicle accidents, balance disorders, neuromuscular conditions, and age related movement challenges.
Chris is both a licensed physical therapist and a certified personal trainer, bringing over 26 years of training experience into his work. His approach blends clinical reasoning with practical strength and movement training, helping people improve function while respecting their bodies.
Chris holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from SUNY Plattsburgh, a Master of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, and an advanced Master’s degree in Musculoskeletal and Sports Physiotherapy from the University of South Australia. His credentials include PT, MPT, MMusc and Sportsphysio, C-IASTM, CES, and NASM-CPT.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys traveling, mountain biking, hiking, and spending time with his wife Ailie and their two dogs, Skylar and Maylo.
